How You Can Make a Difference

Thank you for supporting International Affairs! Our mission is to cultivate conscientious global citizens and enhance the UCR community by facilitating meaningful international experiences through research, education, and cultural exchange.

We make it possible for UCR to welcome international students, host visiting researchers, and send UCR students to study, intern, or conduct research abroad. Our goal is to enhance UCR’s global impact by facilitating international collaboration, cutting edge research, and educational exchange.

Giving to International Affairs funds supports UCR’s global impact:

  • Education Abroad Programs Fund – scholarship support for students on Education Abroad programs
  • Rose Royal Fund for Language Study Abroad – scholarship support for students studying foreign languages on Education Abroad programs
  • International Affairs Fund – general support for International Affairs programs and activities
  • UCR-Faculty Mentored Interdisciplinary Research Experience Fund (UCR-FIRE) – general support for the UCR-Faculty Mentored Interdisciplinary Research Experience program

When you give to the Education Abroad Scholarship Fund, you help us to:

  • Fund and revitalize scholarships for exceptional students who want to learn abroad.
  • Develop a fund for students who are abroad and dealing with emergencies.

When you give to the International Affairs fund, you help us create new programs, provide support for International Students and Scholars, as well as fund specific international initiatives.

We appreciate whatever you can give! No donation is too small.

Please note:
If you are currently living outside of the United States and would like to support International Affairs, please make your donation on the University Advancement website.
